In the middle of Neustift, a district of the university town of Freising, we, the Petz family, have been running the Hotel am Klostergarten since 1999, which has been run with great commitment by our son Thomas Petz since 2013.
You will find us in the immediate vicinity of the parish church of St. Peter and Paul, one of the most beautiful rococo churches in Bavaria.
 

Here, right outside Munich, is the perfect starting point to easily take advantage of the diverse cultural offerings of the “cosmopolitan city with a heart” by S-Bahn, regional train or taxi or to explore the spectacular Allianz Arena on a walking tour. In Erding (20 minutes) you can enjoy a wellness stay in the largest thermal spa in the world with a visit to the “Therme Erding”.
 

Freising's direct location to Munich Airport (MUC) offers our guests the perfect starting point for business appointments or visits to MESSE Munich.
 

But there is also a lot to discover in the city of Freising itself. In an 8-minute walk you can reach the center with Marienplatz, where the region's products are offered at the colorful weekly market on Wednesdays and Fridays, and St. Mary's Cathedral - one of Freising's over 250 listed buildings that are listed in the Bavarian list of monuments.
Weihenstephan, the world's oldest brewery, which has existed since 1040, and the remarkable Weihenstephan viewing garden, in which new varieties of roses, perennials and trees are tested and shown in imitable combinations with companion plants, can be found in the Freising/Vötting district - easily accessible by city bus.
